Assistant Professor
Dr. Asad Arastu is a hospitalist, or physician that specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Arastu practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He joined the Division in 2023 and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Perelman School of Medicine. His interests include clinical research and medical education. Additionally, he speaks Spanish and Urdu.
Dr. Arastu earned his medical degree from University of Rochester in New York. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Oregon Health & Science University.
