Dr. Deneen Spatz is a hospitalist, or physician that specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Spatz is a lead for the clinical heart failure workgroup. She practices at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and Good Sheppard Penn Partners. She joined the Section in 2014 and currently serves as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine. Her interests include heart failure, cardiac MRI and point of care ultrasound.
Dr. Spatz earned her medical degree from Temple University. She completed a medical residency at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and a Cardiac MRI fellowship at Duke University.
