Dr. James Withey is a hospitalist or physician that specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Withey practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He joined the Division in 2024 and currently serves as an instructor at the Perelman School of Medicine. His interests include Consult medicine, and QI/Patient Safety. Additionally, he speaks Spanish.
Dr. Withey earned his medical degree from Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. He completed his Residency at Los Angeles General Medical center at the University of Southern California.
